To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of the first Harry Potter film, the Night Fountains Show of the Château de Versailles are reimagined for an exceptional evening celebrating Back to Hogwarts under the sign of magic.

With your map in hand, take a whimsical stroll through the groves and try to discover iconic moments inspired by the wizarding world scattered along your journey. As you wander through the gardens at night, illuminated fountains and spectacular water displays come alive to the rhythm of the films’ legendary soundtracks, offering a truly enchanted experience in a breathtaking setting.

The highlight of the evening: a spectacular finale combining a drone ballet and pyrotechnics, lighting up the sky above the Château de Versailles for an unforgettable moment, where historical heritage meets fantastical imagination.

Young and old (witches, wizards, and Muggles too!) are invited to come in the color of their house and celebrate this remarkable milestone year, to be enjoyed with family or friends.

A must-see one-night-only event evening, offering a chance to rediscover the gardens of the Château de Versailles as you have never seen them before.

Adaptation and safety measures :

Château de Versailles Spectacles wishes to express its sympathy and concern in response to the wildfires currently affecting many regions across France.

For more than 350 years, the Night Fountains Show has carried on the tradition of the Fêtes de Nuit created under Louis XIV, combining illuminated fountains with spectacular fireworks in the Gardens of the Château de Versailles.

In view of the current drought conditions and to ensure the safety of all visitors, the fireworks display has been adapted to further reduce fire risks. The measures in place include :

– launching the fireworks from a secure area located between the Grand Canal and the Apollo Basin;
– preventive watering of the launch area;
– specialist teams on site to monitor the area and respond immediately to any falling debris;
– reducing the use of the pyrotechnic effects considered to present the greatest fire risk;
– increasing the use of drones, enhancing the spectacle while reducing reliance on fireworks.

These adaptations allow the Night Fountains Show to take place in accordance with the safety requirements set by the French authorities.

Free admission : is granted to children aged 0 to 3 inclusive, upon presentation of proof of age (no ticket reservation required).

A reduced rate : is available for EEA residents or nationals, upon presentation of a valid official document on the day of the visit. More information here.
