Since January 2026, Château de Versailles Spectacles has applied differentiated pricing for certain shows (listed below). Visitors who are residents or nationals of a Member State of the European Economic Area (EEA) benefit from a reduced rate, while visitors from outside the EEA are subject to the full rate.
The European Economic Area includes France and the Member States of the European Union, as well as Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein. This measure enables the Château de Versailles to maintain cultural access for European audiences while adapting its pricing policy for international visitors, in line with practices observed at other cultural institutions.
Reduced Rate – Visitor from the European Economic Area (EEA)
Visitors who are residents or nationals of a European Economic Area (EEA) country are entitled to a reduced rate of €3 off the standard price for the following events :
– The Night Fountains Show and its special dates
Eligibility Conditions
Access to the reduced rate is granted to residents or nationals of the EEA upon presentation, on the day of the visit, of a valid official document :
– National identity card
– Passport
– Visa
– Residence permit
Visitor from outside the EEA
Visitors who are neither residents nor nationals of a country within the European Economic Area must pay the full rate.
