The Bal of the Century : An Evening in the Heart of the Roaring Twenties

Now an eagerly anticipated event, The Ball of the Century returns to the Palace of Versailles for its fourth edition. For one unforgettable evening, Versailles is transformed into a spectacular celebration inspired by the free-spirited, elegant and daring world of the Roaring Twenties.

Far more than a ball, The Ball of the Century offers an immersive experience in the heart of the Palace of Versailles, bringing together music, dance, performances, encounters and surprises.

An Evening Where Your Outfit Becomes Part of the Show

Elegant silhouettes, fringed dresses, pearls, feathers, tuxedos… At The Ball of the Century, your outfit is no mere detail : it is part of the show.

Step into the atmosphere of the 1920s and let yourself be swept away by the elegance and exuberance of the Roaring Twenties.

Versailles Becomes the Setting for an Extraordinary Evening

Once the doors open, the evening unfolds throughout the Palace of Versailles’ most iconic spaces.

From the Gallery of Battles to the King and Queen’s State Apartments, via the legendary Hall of Mirrors, each setting becomes the backdrop for a truly unique experience.

Music, choreography, performances, encounters and surprises follow one another throughout the evening, inviting you to experience Versailles in a completely new way.

In the Hall of Mirrors, dancers take over the space before giving way to one of the evening’s highlights: a spectacular firework display illuminating the grounds and gardens of Versailles.

Dance to the Rhythm of the Roaring Twenties

Whether you are a professional dancer, an enthusiastic amateur or simply curious to learn, the dancers at Le Bal du Siècle will introduce you to the iconic dances of the Roaring Twenties.

Charleston, tango, foxtrot, waltz… let yourself be guided and learn a few steps before becoming part of the celebration yourself.

Throughout the evening, entertainment, encounters and performances add to this immersive experience.

And when midnight strikes, the party is far from over. It continues in the Gallery of Battles, to the sounds of contemporary music, until 1.30am.

An Experience to Be Lived in Versailles

Le Bal du Siècle is an invitation to experience Versailles in a whole new way.

For one evening, the Palace becomes the setting for an extraordinary event where heritage, music, dance and performance come together.

Some surprises will remain secret until the night itself. Because an evening like this can never be fully described: it has to be experienced.

The Ball of the Century is now an unmissable event.

A new winter tradition in Versailles, eagerly anticipated by those who want to experience the Palace in a different way. One evening. A limited number of guests. An experience like no other.

The Ball of the Century : you don’t simply attend it. You live it.
