The Magic of Drones
More than 500 drones now light up the Night Fountains Show at the Palace of Versailles :
Every Saturday until 19 September, the Night Fountains Show at the Palace of Versailles will culminate in a spectacular finale combining breathtaking fireworks with a choreographed display of more than 500 drones. Previously reserved for a handful of special occasions, such as Bastille Day on July 14th, this spectacular finale is now a highlight of every summer Saturday evening at Versailles.
A spectacular drone display above the gardens :
High above André Le Nôtre’s iconic gardens, more than 500 drones extend the magic of the fireworks by creating monumental aerial formations across a space stretching up to 700 metres wide and 300 metres high.
Blending heritage, cutting-edge technology and artistic creativity, this new addition offers visitors an immersive and unforgettable experience.
Innovation in the service of wonder :
With this new finale, Château de Versailles Spectacles continues its commitment to bringing an exceptional heritage site to life through contemporary artistic creation.
Versailles has always been a place of innovation, where technical excellence has been used to inspire emotion and wonder. The introduction of drones builds on this tradition, opening up exciting new artistic possibilities.

The show has been created by Groupe F, the internationally renowned company behind some of the world’s most iconic pyrotechnic displays, including the Bastille Day fireworks at the Eiffel Tower.
Combining the artistry of fireworks with state-of-the-art drone technology, Groupe F has designed an exceptional finale created especially for Versailles.
A new approach to open-air entertainment :
The use of drones also reflects the evolving challenges of staging outdoor events. This technology helps reduce noise disturbance and mitigate some of the risks associated with periods of extreme heat, while significantly enhancing the artistic experience for audiences.
Adaptation and safety measures :
Château de Versailles Spectacles wishes to express its sympathy and concern in response to the wildfires currently affecting many regions across France.
For more than 350 years, the Night Fountains Show has carried on the tradition of the Fêtes de Nuit created under Louis XIV, combining illuminated fountains with spectacular fireworks in the Gardens of the Château de Versailles.
In view of the current drought conditions and to ensure the safety of all visitors, the fireworks display has been adapted to further reduce fire risks. The measures in place include :
– launching the fireworks from a secure area located between the Grand Canal and the Apollo Basin;
– preventive watering of the launch area;
– specialist teams on site to monitor the area and respond immediately to any falling debris;
– reducing the use of the pyrotechnic effects considered to present the greatest fire risk;
– increasing the use of drones, enhancing the spectacle while reducing reliance on fireworks.
These adaptations allow the Night Fountains Show to take place in accordance with the safety requirements set by the French authorities.

Exceptional dates :
Saturdays on June 6th, 13th and 27th 2026 ticket holders for the Night Fountains show are invited to attend in baroque-style costumes.
Special pricing applies :
– Saturday, July 4th – The Night Fountains Show – Independence Day.
– Tuesday, July 14th – The Night Fountains Show – French National Day.
– Saturday, August 15th – The Fire Night Fountains Show.
– Saturday, August 29th – The Night Fountains Show : Harry Potter – Back to Hogwarts.
Prices
Free admission : available for children aged 0 to 3, upon presentation of proof (no ticket reservation required).
Group Rate : available for groups of 30 people or more, only by phone reservation at +33 1 30 83 74 44. €32 for EEA nationals and €35 for non-EEA nationals.
Reduced Rate granted to residents or nationals of the EEA, upon presentation, on the day of the visit, of a valid official document. More information here.
Rates for ages 4–11 (inclusive) and 12–17 (inclusive) granted upon presentation of proof.
Special Rate granted to:
– holders of a disability card (PRM/PSH) + 1 accompanying person (all nationalities)
– holders of the carte famille nombreuse (French large-family card – French nationals only)
– students upon presentation of a student card (French or EEA nationals)
– members of the Opera Experience Solo or Duo offer, as well as Solo or Duo OR

Family rate : valid for 2 adults and 2 children aged 4 to 17, booking online or by phone.

Conditions :
1. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Strolling tours, no seats available.
3. All exits are final.
4. Tickets are neither exchanged, refunded, nor returned, even in the event of bad weather on the evening itself.
5. The Night Fountains Show take place regardless of weather conditions.
You may be filmed or photographed during this event. Château de Versailles Spectacles considers that by attending, you waive any rights to object to the use of these images for the promotion of The Night Fountains Show.
No duplicate will be issued, even in case of loss or theft.

/!\ Car access to the Night Fountains Show via the Queen’s Gate is restricted to visitors holding a Prestige or Royal Ticket. Each visitor, including children aged 4 to 17, must have one of these tickets. Only these tickets include parking.
