2026 opus : The Refined Pleasures of Marie Antoinette.
On summer Saturdays, after the Musical Fountains Show or before the Night Fountains Show, discover the Grand Apartments of the Château de Versailles as you have never seen them before.
As the sun sets, the Royal Serenade of the Hall of Mirrors takes you on a fifty-minute tour, from the Royal Chapel to the Hall of Mirrors. Artists, dancers, musicians, singers and fencers dressed in magnificent Baroque costumes, will recreate scenes such as those once witnessed in the gilded splendour of 17th-century Versailles.
Marie Antoinette takes centre stage in this tour, promising an unforgettable experience at the Château de Versailles that will delight both young and old alike !

Cast
- Fencing bout – Marble Courtyard* Midnight Première and the Compagnie Contre-Temps.
- Theatrical reception – Royal Chapel Collectif sur le Pont, Claire Barrabès.
- Sacred music concert – Upper Gallery Royal Chapel Musicians of the Royal Opera's Orchestra.
- Baroque dance & music demonstration – Marie-Antoinette’s Menus plaisirs – Hall of Mirrors Dancers of the Royal Opera's Ballet, accompanied by musicians of the Royal Opera's Orchestra, choreographed by Pierre François Dollé.
- Costumes Les Vertugadins.
- *Should there be bad weather, the fencing performance will be relocated inside the Castle.
Prices
Free admission : is available to children aged 0 to 3 inclusive, upon presentation of proof (no ticket reservation required).
Group Rate : is available from 30 people (€31) and must be booked by telephone only on +33 1 30 83 74 44.
Reduced Rate : is available to residents or nationals of France and the EEA, upon presentation on the day of the visit of valid official proof. More information here.
The 4–11 (inclusive) and 12–17 (inclusive) rates are granted upon presentation of proof.
A Special Rate is available to :
– holders of a disability card (PRM/PSH) + 1 accompanying person (all nationalities)
– holders of a carte famille nombreuse (French large-family card – French nationals only)
– students, upon presentation of a valid student card (French or EEA nationals)
– beneficiaries of the Opera Experience Solo or Duo offer, as well as Solo or Duo OR
– holders of the Solo or Duo Card of the Society of the Friends of Versailles
– holders of the Versailles 1-Year Solo or Duo Card
– holders of the 2-Day Passport

Every Saturday from June 6th to September 19th 2026, Tuesday July 14th.
Sessions : 6:30p.m – 6:50p.m – 7:10p.m – 7:30p.m – 7:50p.m
Saturdays on June 6th, 13th and 27th 2026 holders of Royal Serenade tickets are invited to attend in baroque-style costumes.
The shows of The Royal Serenade in the Hall of Mirrors on Saturday, June 6th 2026, will honour the memory of Mathieu Nègre.
Itinerary: Marble Courtyard, Royal Chapel, King’s Grand Apartments, Hall of Mirrors, Queen’s Grand Apartments, Princes Stairs.
In case of bad weather, the fencing scene will be moved indoors to the Château.
Access to the Royal Serenade in the Hall of Mirrors is via the Dufour Pavilion, Entrance A.
Conditions:
1. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Strolling tours, no seats available.
3. All exits are final.
4. Tickets cannot be returned, are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
You may be filmed or photographed during this event. Château de Versailles Spectacles considers that by attending, you waive any rights to object to the use of these images for the promotion of The Royal Serenade.
