As the seasons go by, to the rhythm of baroque music (Lully, Handel, Charpentier, Campra, Cavalli…), stroll through the remarkable French gardens of Château de Versailles !
At the turn of a flowerbed, in a grove exceptionally open to the public from 9am to 7pm*, you will come across a thousand statues, sometimes hidden masterpieces or topiaries (sculpted plants) hand carved by Château de Versailles’s gardeners.
Like musical climaxes to your walk with family or friends, the fountains of the Mirror Pool and the Neptune Pool will offer you magnificent water jet and waterfall compositions using modern techniques throughout the day.

Prices
Free admission: granted to children up to and including 5 years old who access the Gardens without a ticket (proof of identity may be requested on site) / to beneficiaries of the Opéra Expérience package / 1-year Solo and Duo Card at Versailles – Société des Amis de Versailles Card – Amis de l’Opéra Royal Card / Tour guide / Louvre School student until the end of 2026.
Access to the gardens for school groups affiliated with the French national education system is now free under certain conditions. Information and reservations at +33 1 30 83 78 00 and on Visiting terms | Château de Versailles.
Group rate: €10 granted from 30 people with a dated ticket sent by email to [email protected]. On the same day €11 at the group ticket office at the garden entrance (subject to availability). More info.

Specific rate granted to:
– holders of a disability card (PMR/PSH) + 1 accompanying person (all nationalities)
– holders of a large family card (French only)

– accompanying person(s) holding an Opéra Expérience Solo or Duo package, as well as Solo or Duo OR (free for holders)
– accompanying person(s) holding the Société des Amis de Versailles Card (free for holders)
On-site rate:
For EEA nationals (subject to availability), the ticket price is €13 reduced rate – FR and EEA / €12 specific rate.
For non-EEA nationals (subject to availability), the ticket price is €16 full rate / €12 specific rate.

Practical information
Opening hours :
The time indicated for the booking (9am) corresponds to the opening of the ticket offices and the groves.
Your ticket is valid from 9am until the groves close.
Ticket valid for one admission (access : Courtyard of the Princes, Little Venice, Menagerie, Dragon or Neptune Gates). A second admission is possible through a different gate than the one used for the first entry.
Please note :
1. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Tour on foot, no seats available.
3. No re-entry once you leave.
4. Tickets are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be returned, even in the event of bad weather.
5. The Musical Gardens take place regardless of weather conditions.
No duplicate will be issued, even in case of loss or theft.
You may be filmed or photographed during this event. Château de Versailles Spectacles considers that by attending, you waive any rights to object to the use of these images for the promotion of The Musical Gardens.

Automatic fountains playing all day :
Neptune Pool from 10am to 6.45pm*: 5 min. every 15 min.
Mirror Pool from 10am to 7pm*: 8 min. every 10 min.
Due to a technical issue, the water displays at the Water Theatre Grove are temporarily out of service. Our fountain engineers are doing their best to restore the system.
