The Grand Masked Ball at Château de Versailles
Baroque costumes, wigs, champagne, club atmosphere…Wearing a baroque costume and a mask (compulsory) you are invited to attend the most original of parties in the magnificent Château de Versailles Orangerie and in its gardens specially staged for the event.
Versailles still echoes with the royal celebrations of the 17th century court. Since its first edition in 2011, the Grand Masked Ball has renewed itself every year to create an exceptional soirée celebrating unforgettable and refined nights.
There will be dancers, performers and artists taking part in the newly staged ball. The Grand Masked Ball is the occasion of an exceptional evening in period costume at Château de Versailles.
Finally at dawn all guests will gather in the Ballroom Grove for an incredible after party.
Come dressed in a quality baroque costume to be worn on arrival (all guests have to find their own costume). Your face must be masked on arrival and during the entire ball. No admission for those not wearing a costume.

The Masked Ball ticket gives complimentary access to the Fountains Night Shows on 23 June.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
HAKIM GHORAB, Artistic Director and Choreographer
Born in the North of France, Hakim Ghorab was only 20 when he arrived in Paris. Hardly arrived in the capital, he was identified by the team of the musical show Les 10 commandements (The 10 commandments). A highly talented dancer, he was soon invited by the greatest French and international artists: Janet Jackson, Maria Cary, the Pussy Cat Dolls and also Kylie Minogue, whom he accompanied on 2 of her world tours. Back in France, Hakim Ghorab decided to take up choreography as a new challenge. He has worked with M. Pokora, Shy’m… and created the stage directions for major French TV shows: the NRJ Music Awards, The Voice, and Les Envoirés and for the singer Anggun at the Eurovision contest. He also signed the choreographies of French blockbusters such as Pourquoi j’ai pas mangé mon père by Jamel Debbouze, Sur la piste du Marsupilami by Alain Chabat and also Star 80, Populaire, Fatal… In 2013, Hakim Ghorab came back to choreography with the musical Robin des Bois applauded by almost a million spectators all around France. In 2016, he was the artistic director of the French version of Dancing with the Stars on the television channel TF1 and in 2017 of M.Pokora’s My Way Tour. He will use his exceptional creative and directorial talents as the artistic director of the Grand Masked Ball at the Palace of Versailles on 24 June 2018 and at the cinema in Les Nouvelles aventures de Cendrillon by Lionel Steketee with Marilou Berry (released 18 October 2017), and Santa & Cie, by and with Alain Chabat (released 6 December 2017).
