NEW PRODUCTION

If Marivaux had not existed, Da Ponte would have invented him! In the famous trilogy he signed with Mozart, Così fan tutte is the most “concentrated” on two couples of lovers, observed under the magnifying glass of feelings.

Of course, there is the deception organized by the two lovers to test their mistresses, similar to a “test” in a TV reality show of today and Da Ponte’s science of interlacing twists and turns to add energy to the plot. But it is Mozart who has the last word with his unequaled music to express these feelings…This Così completes a trilogy performed at the historical Drottningholm theatre and at the Royal Opera by Ivan Alexandre and Marc Minkowski, The Musiciens du Louvre and the magnificent troupe of soloists gathered for three years.
