Sébastien Daucé is 36. The harpsichord player has built a world of perfection at the heart of the first French baroque period, far off beaten tracks.

With the Ensemble Correspondances he founded, which he leads from within, he explores the music of the French Court at the time of Louis XIII and the young Louis XIV. This season he will be the herald of French 17th century religious music. First Henry Du Mont’s marvels which he has just brought back to the fore. At Christmas, he will come to the Royal Chapel for Charpentier’s Histoires Sacrées in a staged version, a premiere in centuries. Finally during Holy Week, he will revisit Charpentier’s greatest masterpieces. Wonderful opportunities for lovers of authentic rarities…
